The activity was so interesting and fun! I was picked up on time actually even earlier which was great, then we went to the market and Sanaa our guide was fantastic and explained us every aspects of the Balinese culture. Then we went to his family house where we learned how to make coconut oil and since it’s a long process, we also learned how to cook an amazing curry (it was amazing really). So I cannot recommend enough this activity, it is a must do in Bali, if you want a traditional and local approach. Sanaa was super nice and took us to a coffee plantation where we could taste free samples of different coffee and teas and then we wanted to buy some wooden furniture so we stoped to a local market. Everything was super nice and spontaneous in a way so I strongly recommend!

Une mâtiné formidable au côté de Sana et de sa famille . Nous avons eté accueilli comme de la famille dans la maison de ces locaux adorables. Après un passage par le marché local nous avons réalisé notre huile de coco nous même avec leur aide tout en préparant un délicieux curry typique avec ses acconpagnements , que nous avons tous déguster ensemble . Beaucoup de prévenance , nous sommes chouchouter a à tout moment , et ravi de pouvoir en apprendre plus sur la culture balinaise nous posons beaucoup de question auquel Sana ce fais un plaisir de répondre. Et Nous repartons avec notre fabrication. Au retour un arrêt dégustation de café imprévu pour le plaisir, offert par notre guide , nous rentrons des souvenirs graver dans le ❤️. Merci à vous 😚 . Heel interessant, ontspannen bij een local familie op bezoek samen met onze gids Sana, die ons veel heeft uitgelegd over de cultuur, gebruiken en rituelen. Boeiend om onze cocosolie te maken en lokaal te koken wat overheerlijk was. Zeker aan te raden!!!

The activity was amazing. The driver was early and told us many things about Balinese culture on our way to the market. At the market, we walked through many stalls as he explained the various produce. Next we went to a family’s home and were taught how to make the coconut oil and worked together to make the green curry and a couple other dishes. We also sampled some desserts as well as mangosteen and rambutan. The family was preparing for a celebration for a 3 month old baby that was taking place the next day! An excellent look into the Balinese life!
