Tres bons échanges en amont pour l’organisation. Seuls français partis les anglo-saxons dans le groupe l’organisateur nous a trouvé un autre groupe français la veille, Top! Équipement proposé avec l’excursion au top: chaussures (hyper conforts), blouson, casque, bâtons très apprécié pour voyager léger! Simone a été un guide bienveillant s’adaptant au rythme de chacun, de très bonnes explications et hyper souriant ! Un vrai bonheur. Ascension faisable mais un peu difficile du fait du dénivelé, il faut en tenir compte! Spectacle lunaire inoubliable.

Es war ein sehr beeindruckendes Erlebnis, und für uns das Highlight der Sizilien-Reise! Man sollte aber eine gute Kondition haben, da die Wanderung anstrengend ist. Die Tour war sehr gut organisiert und der Guide sehr kompetent und nett. Wir hatten sehr großes Glück mit dem Wetter. Am Tag nach unserer Tour ist der Ätna wieder ausgebrochen.

we were lucky enough to have our tour on the day of an eruption, even though we could not hike to the summit, we had an amazing alternative experience that was worth the money. our guides Giovanni and Massimo were very strict about safety during the eruption which was very good. they shared interesting information about the vulcano and its environment. highly recommend!

We had quite the surprise on our end-of-May trek - Snow! Nello did fantastic though, keeping things light, sharing abundant knowledge, and helping others along the way with guidance, support, and extra supplies to keep our group of varying experience levels together. Ended up being an unforgettable experience! A few tips - This is a medium-hard hike, leaning towards hard for the average person (especially if chilling headwinds are blasting you up a 50 meter ascent). Definitely opt for trekking poles, pack layers, BRING A FACE COVER, and understand that you will be at breath-altering altitude having to perform at times intense physical activity. Once you understand and prepare for that, you'll be set for an awesome few hours!
